Boo & Phyllis update 9/8/2009

We have been back in Yei for one week now. We spent almost 2 weeks in Kampala attending a consultation on Theological Education in Africa and meeting with our two Bishops, Wandabula and Swanson.
On arrival in Yei we moved into one room of a guesthouse at the UMCOR compound. Another 2 bedroom guesthouse is being built next door. We are working on plans for a
team from Holston to arrive in November. IF YOU ARE NOT ON OUR NEWSLETTER LIST PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL: boohank@yahoo.com You may have already heard, but this week Pastor Isaac Sebit contracted chicken pox (we think) from his children, and has been very sick for a week. Pray for him. Also, Mr. David Balah @ CTC lost his wife and baby to an accident. Pray for him and his family. We also learned through our missionary fellowship that a local pastor (not UM) was in an accident and got a minor wound. However, he developed tetanus and died. People's lives here are so fragile.
