Ministerial Education Fund for Seminary

In administering the Ministerial Education Fund (MEF), the Board of Ordained Ministry has as its primary purpose to advance theological and professional education and to assist in providing an adequate ministerial supply within Holston Conference and The United Methodist Church. It endeavors to provide needed financial assistance to ministerial students.

University Senate Approved Seminaries

The University Senate is an elected body of professionals in higher education created by the General Conference to determine which schools, colleges, universities, and theological schools meet the criteria for listing as institutions affiliated with The United Methodist Church. Each year, the Senate prepares a list of approved schools for use by annual conference boards of ordained ministry in determining dandidate educational eligibility for admission into full connection.
