Clergy Concerns
The Steward of Clergy Concernsis available to provide pastoral care (as a chaplain would) for clergy and/or families. He maintains contact with and provides support for clergy who have left the ordained ministry, on leave of absence, retired…remembers the forgotten, conducts exit interviews with clergy leaving the ordained ministry or retiring. The Steward of Clergy Concerns offers pastoral support to the bishop and district superintendents. The Steward works with Orders and Fellowship of all clergy groups for purposes of spiritual formation, mutual support, covenant groups and sharing groups and is the support person for retired clergy. This individual edits Clergy Connection, is the staff person related to the Pastoral Counseling Center, and is a member of the Clergy Support Team.
