The Conference maintains a self-insured health insurance program and other benefits for all eligible clergy, full-time Conference lay employees, and full-time lay employees of participating churches within Holston.

Please refer to the current “Book of Reports” or Conference Journal to review eligibility guidelines.

Open enrollment takes place November of each year and plan elections can be changed and previously eligible / non-participating clergy and lay may enroll for the upcoming calendar year. Enrollment may take place during the plan year for individuals who are newly hired or who have lost other coverage involuntarily. Changes in participants’ dependents (Marriage, new-born / adopted child, etc.; also constitute “Qualifying Events” that would permit enrollment at a time other than the November period.
