When was the Last Time?

When was the last time you had fun? I mean real fun. Fun so great that your mouth hurt from laughing. fun so great you were exhausted from enjoying yourself. jesus declared I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly. But, so many Christians are not experiencing joy, celebration and the abundant life. maybe we believe that abundance means great wealth. I believe abundance also carries the sense of joy and excitement about life. My oldest sister Helen came to visit the family for about two weeks. I noticed that she sees things that I have been around since arriving in Knoxviille and she rejoiced in the beauty of those scenes that I had just passed by. what is in your immediate community that God has planted just for your joy and excitement and you are missing because you want let your eyes see them. While Helen, my oldest daughter Karen and my two grandkids were with me and the family we laughed and laughed and had such a good time that I almost felt guilty. And when that feeling came I just said "Get thee behind me Satan!" When was the last time you truly enjoyed life. Christians should because we follow someone who believed in us and wanted us to enjoy abundant living so much he died to set us free from all that binds us.
