Appointed in 2018 as Executive Director, Paul’s career in non-profit development began after graduating from the University of Memphis with a Master of Arts degree in history. He has worked for the Knox Area Rescue Ministries, The Salvation Army and Christian Academy of Knoxville. His higher education experience introduced him to the planned giving side of fundraising working for Carson-Newman University and most recently The University of Tennessee. In 2013, he was awarded Knoxville’s “Non-Profit Professional of the Year” distinction from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He also served as the Director of Gift Planning for the Foundation from 2012-2018.

As Executive Director he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Foundation including investment services, planned giving and stewardship. He works with a board of individuals from all parts of the Holston Conference.

LeRae Collins began in July 2018 as the Foundation's first Director of Communications. Recent growth over the past several years warranted the addition of this position to  articulate the ministry and services provided by the Foundation to churches, ministries and individuals. LeRae will be a familiar name and face to much of the Holston Conference as she successfully coordinated the Conference's Imagine No Malaria campaign a few years ago.

LeRae has also professionally served United Methodist Communications, the international Imagine No Malaria Campaign and as Director of Communications at Church Street UMC and Fountain City UMC.

She is married to Benjamin Collins and they have a daughter, Fallon. They are members of Fountain City United Methodist Church in Knoxville.

Richard’s initial professional career began as an attorney in the Johnson City area. After responding to God’s call he completed seminary at Emory University (Candler School of Theology) and went on to serve churches in Farragut and Oak Ridge. He also worked for the Conference as the Director of Congregational Development before returning to the local church setting in 2013. He retired from full time ministry in 2017.

Rev. Richard Edwards accepted the position of Director of Stewardship in 2018 with the Foundation. He will be responsible for directing the stewardship resources provided by the Foundation, as well as resourcing the Conference’s Stewardship Team.

These records include investments, contributions, distributions, statements and annual preparation of accounts for tax returns and audit. Provides assistance to churches and individuals to review investments for their accounts. Assists the Executive Director with day-to-day operations of the Foundation.
